Hysteroscopy

A hysteroscopy is a way for your doctor to look at the lining of your uterus. A thin viewing tool called a hysteroscope enters the uterus through the vagina and cervix. It has a light and camera so that the lining of the uterus is visible on a screen. Hysteroscopy can be used to diagnose or as part of an operation.
